If it were not for many years spend on the Internet to increase my knowledge about the possibilities of featured weblog or a website with a forum using an open source application, I do not dare to write a article like this.
My Way of the Cross, in search of applications that give me the opportunity to begin my web experience began in 2002. Tending to a more technical wording given by my qualifications as a system administrator I searched and found the definition “Content Management System “.
This defines the typical applications that contain features essential to word processing and even the most advanced imaging and formatting functions and features.
My first research I did come across the name of “Drupal”. In 2002 Drupal path of its development was version 4.7. On my first attempt to install the application I was then in front of complications due to my inadequate and insufficient knowledge of programming language “PHP”. Mainly due to the impossibility of finding relevant documentation to figure it out, I gave up.
In 2005 I returned to the site of “Drupal” and I noticed that version 5.0 was actual due as default. So I decided to try again and this time I managed to install the application and not only but also to be drawn into active participation in the community.
Now that I managed after years of experience to bring into line those sites that were the motivation for the project that originally had in mind I have to say that “Drupal” has made me 4 years of losing valuable time.
Wordpress was the best fit to the achievement of those sites that now successfully transmit my ideas and other to participate actively in my “Online” projects. After nearly a year in direct contact with members of the Drupal community I must say that Wordpress serve and support any users, with more simplicity and dedication and selflessness, anyone looking for an application to appear on the Internet than the “fanatics and opportunists” developers of Drupal.
Even today there is not a political organization and an ideology that truly reflects what that continually promises almost ridiculous reapeating about years, to optimize the development of Drupal towards a simple usability and implementation for the general user.
Wordpress community has done this from the beginning and will continue, without the “Gurus” and fanaticism, to give us and offer a package of “Open Source” which allows anyone to develop a simple Weblog Site successfully with all those additional utility as a “Forum” a “gallery” of images or movies or even a site with Multiblog functionality without even having to spend a day having to read documentation or wait for answers on technical questions on their forums.
And on the top: Wordpress fuctionality to update modules and core directly and without fear of disrupting anything. Just compare the two pages “Home Page”, ie those who meet the first Navigation on the portals of their community and you will see the different political and implementation message they communicate to their visitors.

Wordpress, bravi ragazzi – Drupal fanatici ragazzi
Se non fosse per i tanti anni trascorsi ad incrementare le mie conoscenze sulle possibilità di presentarsi su internet tramite un weblog o un sito con un forum non mi azzarderei a scrivere un articolo del genere.
La mia via crucis alla ricerca di applicazioni che mi dessero la possibilità di iniziare la mia esperienza sul web é iniziata nel 2002. Tendendo ad una ricerca più tecnica date le mie qualificazioni come amministratore di sistema ho cercato é trovato la definizione “Content Management System”. Questa definisce quelle applicazioni che contengono le tipiche caratteristiche fondamentali al trattamento di testi e quelle più avanzate anche di immagini e formattazione.
Le mie prime ricerche mi fecero imbattere nel nome di “Drupal”. Nel 2002 Drupal si trovava nel percorso del suo sviluppo alla versione 4.7. Al mio primo tentativo di installare l’applicazione mi sono trovato allora difronte a complicazioni dovute alla mia inadeguata e insufficiente conoscenza del linguaggio di programmazione “PHP”.
Sopratutto dovuta all’impossibilità di trovare documentazione utile per capirci qualcosa, rinunciai. Nel 2005 ritornai sul sito di “Drupal” e notai che la versione era arrivata alla 5.0. Quindi mi decisi di riprovare e questa volta riuscii a installare l’applicazione e non solo ma anche di lasciarmi coinvolgere in una partecipazione attiva nella comunità.
Ora che sono riuscito dopo anni di esperienza a mettere in linea quei siti che erano la motivazione per il progetto che inizialmente avevo in mente devo dire che “Drupal” m’ha fatto perdere 7 anni di tempo prezioso.
Wordpress era l’applicazione più adatta alla realizzazione di quei siti che oggi riescono con successo a trasmettere le mie idee e far partecipare altre persone attivamente ai miei progetti “Online”.
Dopo quasi un anno in diretto contatto con alcuni membri della comunità Drupal devo dire che i ragazzi di Wordpress servono e supportano con più semplicità e dedizione ed altruismo gli utenti alla ricerca di un applicazione per presentarsi su Internet che i fanatici e opportunisti sviluppatori di Drupal.
Ancora Oggi non c’è un organizzazione e politica ne una ideologia che riflette veramente quello che in continuazione promettono in modo quasi ridicolo per ottimizzare lo sviluppo di Drupal nella direzione di una usabilità e implementazione semplice per l’utente generico.
Wordpress lo ha fatto fin dall’inizio e continuerà senza “Guru” e fanatismo a darci e offrirci un pacchetto “Open Source” che permette a chiunque di sviluppare un semplice Weblog fino ad un sito di successo con tutte quelle utilità aggiuntive come un “Forum” una “Galleria” di immagini o filmati o perfino un sito con capacità multiblog senza neppure dover spendere un giorno a dover leggere documentazione o aspettare risposte su domande tecniche sul loro Forum.
Basta mettere a confronto le due pagine “Home Page”, quelle cioè che s’incontrano alla prima navigazione sui portali delle rispettive comunità.
